neckar island water nymph help

i have completed the neckar island puzzle to free the water nymph but nothing happens. all symbols are matching, herbs are in correct bowl. north-toadstool, south- firemoss, east- whirl weed west one berry but the nymh still says i can feel the chilly spell, ive also reloaded a few saves and tried again. is it broken?

Once I got the stuff in the correct order it worked fine for me.

From the walkthrough: "Align the stones so the symbols on the central circle match the symbols on the stones (facing inwards). Then put a toadstool in the northern bowl, whirlweed in the eastern bowl, oneberry in the western bowl and firemoss in the southern bowl. This nets you 80AP. If you lack any of the ingredients they can all be harvest in the area behind the trolls. Note the game uses up all ingredients if you put in a stack, so be sure to split off a single portion for this use."

Are you sure you have the N/S/E/W alingments correct? It's easy to get twisted around if you don't look at the compass rose as you play. Also just a single item in each, not stacks.

Other than that did you do all the quests leading up to that one?

yes im sure the alignments are correct, i know putting the wrong things in the wrong bowl damages you and i didnt recieve any damge, they are also all glowing. i was following the guide on steam, i think its just bugged for me, oh well, i moved on to the elf island

Before you totally give up, try loading the auto save or quick save from before the nymph point and try it again. Sometimes the main / continue save messes up and you can bypass the problem via an auto or quick save.

There's a known corruption point once you get to the Pirate area where the main / continue save can screw up and you bypass it via an auto or quick save.

PS: you can add plants again to correct the color if you did it wrong.

I read that note in the walkthrough too. But Firemoss is definitely not available anywhere near Neckar Island. I think it only grows underground. Also, I couldn't buy it from the Alchemist in the market.
