The Pirates and the Elves

So once you get to Elf-land you have 3 ways you can handle the pirate problem; Kill 'em all, Talk or Upset them.

I know according to the Walkthrough if you do the fight path and kill Capt. Hook he won't be in the Dwarve's area for a quest and it hints as he's not there for some other stuff too.

My question - Does killing him REALLY effect the follow on game play? Or looking at it another way; which is more meaningful - having him around or not?

Well I now know you get kind of a negative rep with the Elves for killing. One won't even talk to me!

Just do what you want. It doesn't matter if he is in Hammerberg or not. And who cares how the elves feeling about you killing someone. These degenerated elves can go and f... themselves if you ask me.

Well of course I'm going to do what I want / play it how I want. All I was asking was what's the difference down the road between the 2 choices so I wouldn't have to play it both ways.

As far as not caring how the Elves feel; the one that won't talk to me is the area's trainer & merchant. Kind of a pain having to leave the area to clear out the loot every so often, where just popping back and forth between the Elf Tree is alot easier.
