Last mission (SPOILER)

Any hints about how to end it? I got swarmed by leviathans and guardians, no way to keep all those missiles and torpedos at bay.

Do you have any frigates? The countermeasures are super handy.

I have 1 with 8 left :( I am considering to ditch all my fleet, get 2 BC and the rest on new frigates

I plowed straigtht through the masses with engines at full, reached the healers at the back and took those out first, then torpedo'd the *** out of the big Gaurdian Monarch. From what I could tell, the Monarchs were spawning more adds the longer I left them alive (one Monarch spawns the Gardians and the other was spawning Spewers)- and with the 5 healers at the back it is impossible to just kill the Monarch first, and I found if I just sailed around pecking off the adds first, I would eventually get overwhelmed.

On easy I focused on the Monarchs. I dumped every torpedo I had into the first two, rammed two ships (just before death) into the third, and my flagship was the only survivor. There's probably much better ways tactically to end the encounter, but I'm happy with the sci-fi movie feel that went down in my game. But....it sounds like you aren't playing on easy. Good luck!

Level your science officer for anti-torpedo/missile/acid spray, put your flagship up front with shield bias and max shield power and laugh as enemy fire plinks harmlessly off of it. (I think I played on easy though... good lord I cant imagine hard)
