It's too much of a risk for me to gamble on the PC version this time.
I'm fully expecting no support for ultrawide, arbitrary framerate caps (like 30, 60 or 120), poor CPU optimization (like many recent JP pc ports) and stability issues like crashes.
Not risking it even if steam has good refund policies. i'd rather let other people test it while i play the stable console version and i've played most trails and YS games on PC.
That should tell you everything you need to know because falcom, has issues optimizing on PS5, they won't improve by adding an internal PC version that's for sure.
And yeah ultra wide support is a pipe dream now and arbitrary frame caps are almost a given. I just hope (no matter how unlikely it is) this is where the issues end.
Time to ask the publisher to have them give the port a once over after Falcom is done making it internally
