Not NISA
Hell yeah! Hope this means Falcom ceases to work with them altogether.

I just hope that whoever is handling the technical aspects has even a fraction of the competency of PH3. Given how bad some other ports using this engine have been (Clouded Leopard Ys X, for example), I'd feel a whole lot better if Durante and his team were involved.

I dont care who publishes the games (I don't understand the hate for NisA).I'm more interested in the technical aspects of the game, like optimization and QoL features. Durante's Team (PH3) have spoiled us with excellent ports and constants updates, even for older games.

I just hope this game doesn't turn out in another Ys Lacrimosa of Dana at launch.

I'll be frank: Don't expect anything near PH3's quality. It is Falcom's in-house PC port so it will atleast be serviceable, but it won't be on the level of PH3's ports.

Also it is likely that Falcom will start making PC ports themselves for their games from now onwards, so any Falcom game that releases after Kai no Kiseki will likely have Falcom's in-house PC port, which further means PH3 likely won't be involved or have very minimal involvement going forward

I'm not crazy about Nisa, but they should have a lot of credit for hiring PH3 and giving them work when they started up. They could have cheapened out, but instead, we got some of the best PC ports period.

No credits for them really, everybody and their mother told them to get PH3 to work on kiseki. They would have to be complete braindead to not do so, especially after how bad their own people messed up on YS 8. I geniunely believe the Kiseki series would have died in the west if they didnt get PH3.

I love Durante and his work but NISA adds no value and can ♥♥♥♥ off.

At the very least NISA release day one on GOG. Will GungHo release on GOG at all? Who knows...

Except everyone also told gunho this and yet here we are. You can try to discredit nisa all you want but they have genuinely done a lot of good. Getting nayuta and crossbell to the west against all odds. Getting the geofront localisations licenced and getting that team into professional translation or even there team. They also got us allmost cought up in record time where previously we were not only 3 years behind but also had a 2 game gap. Both are (almost) gone now.

NISA are great. As were XSEED when they had the licence. I hope Gunho keep this aligned to the existing localisations (re-use XSEED's localisation as much as possible, etc) and bring back as many of the existing voice actors as possible.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't utilise PH3 again, at least for the PC port.

Thank goodness. Nisa has been the worst. Anybody questioning why people hate them are just choosing to be ignorant and/or are blind. The only loss is ph3.

And potentially the English voice cast, and script consistancy(those we will have to see), and collaboration with people from geofront, and the collectors editions being available through a actually working store front that does not ask customers to pay over €100 ontop of the product price for shipping and import fees becouse they don't have a European branch. Or all the Ph3 enhancements not having them post the game means such as: unlimitedrawdistence, ost information, steamdeck support, co-op in ys games, reduced load times by actually using your availabe ram should I go on?

And ontop of all this we also lose the discord server that allowed us semi direct acces to qa testers and staff to quickly resolve problems we encountered with the game.

Yeah sorry saying that it is just Ph3 we miss out on and saying other wise is being ignorant shows you have no idea what you are talking about. Has nisa done only good ofcourse not but they surtenly helped this series become as great as it is today!

I think(and hope) that gunho got this release because nisa was busy with daybreak2 and kai no kiseki. If that is the case we probably get nisa for new trails releases, Gunho for remakes some other publishers for random other stuff (like ys vs trails). I would be fine with that.it would mean we get new releases faster and we still get Ph3 for most releases. That is great!

Don't care about any of that extra nonsense. And most of that is based on assumptions off of what? Something that hasn't released yet? You act like PH3 are the only people that know how to port a game to pc in the whole world.

Well they sure are the only ones I know of who do it with so much passion and go above and beyond. Need I remind you of the quality of any of the cle falcom ports? Or the amount of settings for ff7 remake pc or metaphor on pc.... And the fact that you don't care does not mean that others don't care either. I for one do care.
