Savegame location?

Where is the savegame data stored locally? I need the path, please.
Background: This Steam Cloud has already destroyed my game saves a few times and I like to have local backups. Thank you

Thank you for the information, I have found it. Where did you get the information? Is there a way to find this out yourself in a logical way? I mean, those numbers in the userdata folder are pretty meaningless, but there are a lot of folders in there and probably a lot of savegames from other games. Is there an option to see it in Steam?
