I think beside the combat portions, the quest itself could have some work.

The major problem is that not all fredricks are equal, and while that's fine I feel it could use some clarification, because the Tumor Fred and Fred who bites, are very simmilar in their apperant uselessness, actually one of the two does give stuff if spared. While Scared Fred which hints that if he's the last one alive lets you recruit him, is not an actual thing.

It's so confusing!

Another grip is that if you don't know about the actual real fred, you'd be lead to believe you need to kill 8 Freds to have the allience with one of them, and something that I do dislike, is how when it's last two alive, you can't choose to ally with one and spare the other, I mean by god sake I can understand if you have "8" other voices in your head its annoying but when it's just two when on of them seemingly not having any voices and outright saying "oh well if you don't kill them all it's fine", why can't I choose when it's the last two, which one I want to get the benefit from and the other to stay alive? It feels like a forced decision and I mean, it's a bit biased on you know which one gives the obvious better benefit out of them all...
