This game needs more options and clarifications
I will preface that I love this game and might be the best Horror RPG made in a long time, it's a close rival to Fear & Hunger in level of horror, interactions, and gameplay.

My biggest gripes are a few, the first one is how obscure the whole game is, like you are told about Morale, Hygine, Calm but you aren't told what they mean, you can only guess, and if I hazard a guess, they don't do anything or are very ignorable.

This game suffers from being not fully baked, and while I love it and can look past it, I do wish it would get finished at some point, like how the Landlord appartment is 99% finished but has a few characters that are totally useless, like the Memmorial guy which you can only find 1 dog tag, would be more cool if the soldier enemies drop dog tags or if the Landlord apartment could be a place to grind for XP and money, but it does feel weird.

I do also wish for more pacifist options, I get that this is no Undertale but I think this game does monsters in the most unique way possible, especially when the monsters are not all hostile, I'm not saying have the random mooks like the hands monsters or lookers or whatever be able to stop with with talking, like fine smash their heads in but it would be more interesting to have interactions when you have other characters in your party.

Like having them comment or enemies not agressive to you if you have them, like if you have the Rat Baby maybe rats aren't agressive (a lesser rusty crown since they wont consider you their liege, if you know you know)

The Janitor might make the rest of the janitorial staff not agressive to you and simply ignore you, would love to have him have some unique comments for a certain, SOMEONE in Floor 1.

Maybe some alternative ways to deal with Rafta?

Also I have another opinion for the painter quest which I wish was possible that you can ally yourself with ONE of the Freds by killing 8 of them so that way I don't have to kill the Real one too :(, but also give the rest of the freds an bonus if you decide to spare them (LET ME TAKE SCARED FRED AS PARTY MEMBER DAMN YOU!!!")

That's for now all I can think of, but I might make a different post dedicated to the Painter quest.

Edit 1: I just remembered about Antoine, I feel there's a bit of wasted potential, I feel like it could be fun to have him as a secret recruit number 3, since players first instinct would be pilfer everything, and since Antoine is outside of view, players wouldn't realize and just steal and get attacked.

but it could be fun if they show restraint, Antoine is passive and is, well, probably a total anime freak and it would be fun to make it still an potential enemy, if you need to be very careful in dialogue options to not upset him, even in the slightest way like "Oh yeah I'm not a fan of mangas".

Maybe if you have the Very Rare game card, Antoine could "Smell" it and beg to have it, and you could convice them to play it with you at home and that way you recruit them.

I definitely think things like morale and hygiene should be visible somewhere. It's also really frustrating to not be able to view soap and toothpaste, as far as I can tell, anywhere.

I'm confused about the Fred thing, though. You already have to kill all eight other Freds in order to ally yourself with the last one? And you already have bonuses for allying yourself with any given one, like Tumor Fred giving you grenades or Bright Fred healing you for more. Hell, Real Fred is the one that you can actually miss the bonus, since right now his triggers are bugged; if you give him his face before killing the others, he just doesn't offer his service. (EDIT: Wait, I miscounted. There're ten Freds, my bad.)

All in all, this is a horror game. I don't mind some things not having a happy ending. There should be horrible things in a horror game; it's kind of in the name, y'know?

oh yeah not saying there needs to be an happy ending, but Fred ones, not all freds are equal and it's a bit BS that you need to choose one to stay alive, especially when the REAL fred (no spoiler) apperantly doesn't suffer from the hearing thoughts thing, even then, with atleast 1 other guy in your mind it shouldn't be that bad.
It just feels forced in a bad way

One of the patrons in Mutts says one of their friends lives in the basement but hasn't come due to it being inaccessible. I was hoping that once you open it, maybe Antoine would show up at Mutts later or something.
