I didn't develop the photo paper

I exposed the disc to the telescope, projected the negative disc onto photo paper, forgot about development, and gave the exposed photo paper to Jasper. He took it. Am I cooked? And is it a bug that he accepted it?

EDIT: I should note that I did a bunch of stuff afterward, saved a lot before realizing my mistake, and am unable to savescum my way back to having the exposed photo paper.

it's not a bug that he accepted it, as he cannot know it's developed or not until they check it at the end

You are fine, just locked away from a bunch of "perfect" endings. Don't bother. Still, the game is worth of second playthrough with guides and exploring maximum content.

You will not get the best ending, that's what. But don't really worry this much, not an easy task to make everything right on the first playthrough. I thought recording and delivering camera footage would be just as easy as "insert tape in the recorder -> press record -> take it to astronomer". Nuh-uh.
