Nestor is nightmare fuel (spoilers)
And I mean that in a 'job well done' way. (spoilers ahead)

Not human Nestor, but the abomination he becomes. Specifically, what he does with Eugene. The store music becoming warped and wrong adds to the scene(s) even more. The devs hit it out of the park there, its so messed up. Some fates are worse than death for sure...

Part of you wants to try and save Eugene, then Papineau (if present) reassures you they're both gone and just put them both down, just to ram it home harder.

Alot of stuff sticks out to me in this game, but that might take the cake thus far

I was curious what Nestor's body part will do since the demo version (Eugene wasn't in the demo), when I finally saw this scene in the full game... I regretted it instantly for letting this happen.
His unique death scene made my skin crawl.
I remember being sad I couldn’t give him the letter in the demo due to him being unfinished(he walked backwards lmao).

I now know the error of my ways
My wife was genuinely upset about him hijacking eugene and basically said to kill him before papineau could say it
What causes nestor's quest to trigger? I cleared out the laundry room before meeting him so he was complaining about that for a while, then I delivered the note from rafta. Now he just says oh hey and rafta says hope nestor got her note. He hasn't moved or done anything for like 4 days.
you need to give Rafta the fountain pen, too, and then persuade him that its safe to go meet her

Yeah, you have to pick the option that theyre probably still human for him to progress it
I love John Carpenter's The Thing references in my video games.

you're locked out. you have to select the most reassuring replys when he asks if its safe to see rafta...
What happens to Nestor if he doesn't get the letter? Do the hand creatures get him eventually?

I am too, I like free bombs too much
I like you can chase down the other two body parts, but I'm not sure there's a resolution for them. One body part I followed in 1F and eventually it went down the corridor with lots of doors and went into a room you normally can't get into. I went in, saw lots of vents on the walls I could examine, but no Nestor part. The other part that goes down to GF I can never find.

I was always confused by this quest though cause there seems to be no wy to handle the rest fo Nestor's body or the head aside from just killing him.

Yeah I once chased the arm into the vent room, and it just ended in a nothingburger. Same for the leg vanishing in the bathroom. I figured the games unfinished, dev will probably flesh out the Nestor thing in a future update. Nestor does tell you where his parts went, if you ask him certain things.

I kinda love it. Like is so messed up that it goes into funny territory. Nestor looks like something outta MS Paint. And just lol something about it feels like I stumbled into some kid's messed up drawings. Like I told my kid to sum up The Thing, and all he understood was "dudes get ate sometimes."

My only complaint, and its a real dumb one, is that the music when Nestor's head eats Eugene goes into this creeper version of the store music. I kinda think its a lot funnier if the music just... stayed the same. Something about some guy getting facehugged and the tone of the game just keeps up the "happy" tone. Like its mundane at this point, that people get facedhugged daily.
