Are you able to get all 20 games?
Hi, I wanted to make this post to sorta ask if it was even possible to get the Completionist achievement at all? I wanted to go for it, and have naturally found about 16 of the 20 on my first playthrough, but I wanted to know if this was even a possible achievement before I start grinding for it :b

It is possible, but RNG heavily impacts whether you'll get it early or not

3 available by default and 1 in your own home.
6 games must be purchased from certain merchants (4 from Game Trader, 1 Mutt's and 1 Eugene)
And 10 are scattered around the apartment.

Little clarification about 'Game Trader', he sells 4 game all together cost about $320. But indeed arrives randomly every time spent in your home. You may encounter him very early or late, maybe not at all.

I think I saw someone commenting that Eugene at Floor 2 DO sell a game, I believe this is true because I had some items not available for sale yet. (The boxes on the table)
But the problem is whether the item availability is unlocked everyday randomly or must visit everyday for new items, I'm not sure about this. (I hope someone can confirm this).

Hopefully this helps a bit, I do have locations for games hidden around apartment. If needed.

So Eugene do sells the game I missed! Right, I'm sure of it now. Gonna try another run and check Eugene's shop every day and get some more clarification.

Also, for masked shadow. There are steps needed and yes, RNG. What stage encounter was it with your masked shadow? Or have you checked the bedroom at home? (If you recruited Xaria and Monty).

I see... on my play-through it gave me a 'Rose' and I later re-encounter in the home bedroom every time I start a new game.
I'm sorry but I'm stumped on this problem. I'll try figuring out how I can get the shadow money gift encounter and find the problem.

Do you by chance remember what you did when the Shadow gave you a gift before the wallet/rose scene?

It should be an event when the shadow gives you a 'Tongue' as a gift. With an option to gift back one non-offering+disc key items. I experienced both gifting back and just accepting the gift and both gave me rose on the Ground 3 encounter.

Huh. I was always friendly towards it, but I gifted back the army figurine when he gave me the tongue, and next day it was a wallet, not a rose. Weird.

The Eugene shop on is the last one I didnt know the location of, so now I should be able to try going for it. If you figure out what triggers it appearing, please let me know :3

In my initial playthrough the game never showed up at Eugene's but a second playthrough did have it show up, so not sure if it was initially bugged or such.

Do you happen to remember what day it was on? And how much had you bought from him at that point? Trying to see if I can figure out the spawning conditions so I can potentially make a video of my own about this

Some folks mentioned it was around Day 8? I haven't gone back to test it myself, I just know in my second playthrough it shows up on my save before doing the perfect ritual.
