Songs that Robert is playing?
Wondering what songs the guitarist in the basement is playing. I've heard two of the songs he plays now and I recognize the melodies but can't place the song titles for the life of me. Anyone know?

There are 4. One of them is the Super Jumplad theme. The others are just made up.
Haven't recognized the Jumplad one--thanks for that; but I'm almost dead certain one of the melodies I've heard him play is a sort of amateurishly styled rendition of a riff from some famous song I've heard before. Like a really popular one. Maybe from the 90's? I have memory problems so I could be wrong but I don't think so, here.

Starts at 51:30 - do you know which one?
51:30 is definitely the one I recognized immediately - It hit me at 51:56. I think the guitar's melody might actually be filling the part of the original song's lyrics? I might be wrong. The guitar playing gets a little experimental around 52:18, like the guitarist is trying to get the riff right, I assumed maybe to both emulate Robert's attempts to get used to his new hands and to maybe to avoid being too exactly like the source material. I also recognize the melody starting at 53:14 from somewhere too. Definitely seems like some classic I cant remember.

That's interesting! You could be onto something. I wrote the first song several years ago (for another game Frankie and I worked on!) and another version of it can be heard in the Super Jumplad theme in-game.

The first song!

It was definitely influenced by songs like Someday, Someway by Robert Gordon and Allison by Elvis Costello, two of my favorite songs.

The second song is one I made for a game jam about a year ago. The original version sounds very different.

Its melody and structure were 100% influenced by Night Rider by Pagan Altar. I'd listen to this song and think, "I want to do that too," and it turned into this song.
