Turn the telescope outside.
Examine the reflection on the ground and place the void disc.
Go to Vincent's apartment to where the projector is.
Point the head down, place the photo paper, insert the negative disc, and turn it on.
Bring the exposed photo paper to Lyle and he'll develop it (come back the next day).
Alternatively, kill Lyle and take his dark room key to develop the photo yourself.
There are several choices that can result in a game over, such as looking through the telescope when it's pointed outside so be wary of any choices that involve looking at things.
Lyle isn't averse to a trade. Just remember to keep your eyes shut while he tells you to!
