I have just replayed the second half of the game to revisit the conversations. Since I have completed it not long ago, I tried to skip as much of the Faye battles as possible.

In the last boss fight with Faye, I chose to give up immediately. As the story progresses, the scene changed from Neil copying the frozen Faye, to Neil making a "mutually beneficial" deal with her, who escaped from Eva's spell.

Hope this is helpful for those who missed either of the branches.

First time I choose give up and second time I win.
So I have seen two branches.

hint: Rudog likes playing fetch :D

Yeah just block until she uses rudog and then throw your shoe. And then every turn block with niel and attack with rudog

No need to block apparently, just throw shoes twice
