What a weird ass game

The gunplay is fairly unique and interesting, I really enjoy it but then there's anime titties everywhere and the level design is kind of flat and blocky. Would enjoy the gunplay with better level design.

Could take or leave the weird anime ♥♥♥♥ but I really like having to manually pump the shotgun and lever action rifle.

Violence is fine, nothing really bothers me. I like that there are multiple death animations.

Level design is heavily inspired by Marathon, a very old game that is also available on steam. If you check it our you will notice a lot of similarities in level layout, guns and movement. Some of the guns are almost identical copies (the fusion blaster and .44 pistol being the most obvious) and some levels are almost direct copies too.

AS for the game being weird, i for one am glad it isnt some homogenised beige AAA globo slop and we are actually getting a game that directly follows one poor japanses mans creative vision. We need more weird not less.

Also you can rapid fire from the hip the lever action rifle after you fire by holding down left mouse button and tapping c. You can also do similar by slam firing the shotgun. The revolver can also be fanned. Pressing backspace will remove your helmet and the musket can be tripple loaded.

Exactly. It’s labeled as weird because it’s different from anything else, at least to some extent. And it’s different precisely because it’s not trying to appeal to everyone. Games are usually way more enjoyable when the developers are just doing whatever the hell they want.
