should I play the first game before beyond citadel?

title, im really interested in this game, played the demo a bit and loved the style,
I was wondering if I should play the other citadel game that comes in the bundle, or both games are separated storylines?

Beyond Citadel is the Sequel while Citadel is the 1st game.
You may miss Lorewise if you play Beyond before Citadel if that's what you're asking.
If you're here for Gameplay, go right ahead but if you're more onto the Lore play the Citadel.
