They are both just biblically thematic. both are some idea of a biblical apocalypse and revolve around some religion.

To be fair, this thread could also be called "Judeo Christian Mysticism and the Citadel". There are so many similarities between the lore in this game and broad middle eastern religions that it would cover everything from ancient egypt, zorarastianism, christianity, Judaism, Pre-Islamic paganism, Iranian deism, etc etc. IT is fun to reminice about Evangelion though.

The dev has plenty of inspiration to draw from, so it really isn't surprising. Apart from all the adult content on their X profile, they also sometimes post screenshots of games they play.

Yea i saw he posted quite alot of some kind of hentai zombie shooter game or something. A bunch of curry and transformers amongst other things and some ghost in the shell stuff at one point i think. Thats obviously aside from the hentai he posts.
