Giggleland

Giggleland

is anyone exicted for this game?
and if so, why?. from the teaser to the screenshots. this screams the usual child friendly masscot horror formula we've all come to know.

game has controller support which is already more work than any horror developer's put into one of their games in the last 5 years so it could be cinema

also being tropey doesn't make a piece of media bad and I'm not one to judge something that isn't even out yet just based on marketing alone (cough cough transformers one)

Have to agree, yeah, especially on the second point cuz like, I think people can forget that games are meant to be fun, and by extension, fun to develop for as well. Cuz honestly, if it's not fun developing a game then I don't see why you'd continue working on it unless you're absolutely strapped for cash; and even then, I'd still want to play something rather than nothing since life is short and if I refuse to play games because of a high standard then what's the point in playing games any more?

I was only half-joking with the first point honestly. This game has several features rarely/never seen in mascot horror games (Controller support, cloud saves, achievements, Mac and Linux versions) that, coupled with the obviously high-effort animation, lead me to believe this at least has a lot of effort put into it, which puts it a step above many others in the genre.

Of course being high-effort doesn't mean a game will be good necessarily, but it's at the very least a green flag.

If anything, that's something to look forward to, that's for sure, HeHeh

The choice isn't between a bad game and nothing. It's between a bad game and, uh, any other game.

Did you not check out the Night Mind review for this game? The whole esthetic is to make the game LOOK like it's the tired cliche people are assuming it's going to be.

Watch Night Minds review, you'll see this game has the potential to break new ground. I haven't been this excited for a project since Shipwrecked 64.

I'm just gonna say it. Ima play it the hour it comes out.

Game looks to have been a scam because they won't actually release it until random specific goal is met. Meaning they probably want to string people along for as long as possible.
And if it was released, you'll have been scammed lol.
Fitting, for a game made by Zionists.
what is being a zionist got to do with this?
