21:9/16:10 Aspect Ratio Issue Super Thread
UPDATE #2 - It appears that there are still problems with 21:9 aspect ratio. Please post your specific issue to this thread along with your Resolution, Graphics Card/Driver, along with any supporting screenshots if you can. Hopefully this will get the attention of Nixxes and they will get your issue fixed.

UPDATE #1 - for 16:10 issue - I solved my 16:10 issues in Post 20 http://steamcommunity.com/app/337000/discussions/1/355043117527339665/?ctp=2#c352792037315329323

I have noticed quite a few threads where users like me who do not use the 16:9 aspect ratio having rendering problems when running with Exclusive full screen ON (which is required to be ON for me to use Nvidia 3DVision).

I have not however seen any official response yet. I suggest anyone with Exclusive Fullscreen rendering issues to please post them in this thread so hopefully it gets addressed.

My Issue:
Not only is the HUD messed up the Aspect ratio is stretched poorly just by turning on Exclusive Fullscreen (3d is off).

I am gaming on a 16:10 monitor running its native res of 1680x1050.

Example
1680x1050
Exclusive fullscreen Off
3d Off

1680x1050
Exclusive fullscreen On
3d Off
http://imgur.com/a/VkWtc

When you compare the photos see the HUD is shrunk towards the center while the image is stretched horizontally. It is really obvious on the scope

Sounds like it might be related to this issue I posted about: http://steamcommunity.com/app/337000/discussions/1/355043117527165878/

Maybe the UI/cutscene scaling is calculated wrong in exclusive fullscreen for any display that is not 1920x1080.

You appear to be correct as now that you mention it not only is the HUD scrunched, but the aspect ratio of the items on screen is wrong. Seems there is definitely and issue with exclusive fullscreen aspect ratio when not running 1080P.

You're absolutely right, the whole game is affected. I didn't notice it at first because I didn't use any scoped weapons.

This is what my game (3840x2160 display, in-game res at 1952x1098) looks like with exclusive fullscreen (squished):

And this is without (correct):

please also check the issues with 2560x1080 resolution about shifted to the right 2d elements, hacking nodes and hud at the 16:9 borders while playing in 21:9. pyide_maybe also posted the picture of how it's looks like.

I am so surprise that the developer haven't fixed this issue on the day1 patch....

Submitted a post about this too yesterday, and might as well add to it here:

I have a 21:9 monitor (2560x1080) and although this game supports the resolution, most of the UI looks screwed up (targeting shows the arrow somewhere else instead of above the enemy, inventory boxes look out of place/frame, etc) and it totally messed up with my gameplay.

I tried switching to 1920x1080 just to live with the black bars until they fix this, but I can't even do that. It will just stretch the 1920x1080 to the native 2560x1080 resolution. I tried exclusive fullscreen but it just gave me a black screen.

Anyway to get it to work with ultrawide screen or to get it showing properly in other 1920x1080 resolution?

I have a Temporary fix for 21:9.

-Install a Program called shiftwindow
-Run the Game at windowed
-Alt Tab out of the Game, to the program
-Click on Grab... and choose Deus EX MD (which is running while your doing this)
-Check Fullscreen
-Then make sure you selected the right Monitor
-Click on Trigger, very important!

Note: You will still see the Task-Bar, but thats still better than Gaming in a small Windows...
Am I right!?

Cyberpunk, the temporary fix does not work for me, the enemy marker, and UI are still off and messed up. I guess we have to wait for a fix. I tried reducing the resolution to 1920x1080 and play it with exclusive fullscreen but I got black screen (just audio), so I can't play this game until this is fixed.

HR had great FOV, and a non "zoomed in console fov feel", now the game feels like there is an abundance of console FOV scaling everywhere. So much so that fov doesnt really give you more fov. Try standing 3 feet behind someone that is to the side of you, and even at full 100% fov, you can't see them. It's tunnel vision peripheral. Feels so closed in compared to HR, that it's taking alot of immersion and joy away from the game relatively speaking. Sad day when the more PC of PC games feels over zoomed at full fov. I;ve tried increasing resolution and other methods to fix it, but it hasnt worked very well. 2560 is a little better than 1920, but still zoomed feeling to perceive.
