High GPU temperature on a modern PC
Hey. Mankind Devided is the only game where temperature of my GPU is constantly 80%+. Even lowering down settings temperature will rise to a 80+, while my CPU is chilling on 60+.

I never had problems with this in any game. I rarely have 80+ temperature in Cyberpunk on max settings, but this game was made back in 2016, like wtf. Is that a bad optimization? Is anyone out there having same issue?

My GPU is 3060rtx 12gb,

Do you have MSAA on? With that I have huge fps drops on a similar GPU (6700XT).
You could try limiting fps below what it gets to normally - this should reduce the load on GPU, thus reducing temps.

MSAA is off for me and i lowered down max fps to 60 from 144 and still nothing is changed. I dont have fps issues, but temperature of my GPU is slowly rising while im playing. I dont know, never had this before in any game.

Even lowering down resolution from 2560x1440 to 1980x1080 does not help. Somethink is wrong with the game.

Games are supposed to take advantage of your hardware.

Then this could be an issue with your cooling. Either a stuffy case or just a badly designed cooling on your GPU. Having 80+ in Cyberpunk ( even if it's not all the time) might indicate that as well.
DE:MD is pretty demanding despite being 8 years old.

Why do you think this is a problem again?

I rarely have 80%+ temperature in modern games. The last time i remember i had this spike of a temperature in Cyberpunk on max settings with locked 144 fps in some shooting scenario. Doing quest, exploring, running around my common temperature is 71-75 in any game.

In Mankind Devived my GPU temperature is permament 80-81% no matter with what settings im playing, low or ultra. And thats just weird.

It's almost like the game's actually using your hardware.
