I battled with Deus Ex MK last night for several hours, crashing at random times, tried a bunch of things, then remembered this little tip:
Set Power Management to "prefer Maximum Performance" in Nvidia Control Panel as seen here:

After that, played for several hours with no issues.
Maybe this will help? Worth a shot I suppose.

Past two days thing I've tried:
1. Removing Eidos Montreal from AppData/Roaming before and after launch
2. Removing Nahimic audio drivers
3. Updating Realtec audio drivers
4. Rollback to previous builds through the game properties
5. Turning off all user process except steam and DeusEx
6. Turning off Steam overlay
7. Switching different graphics and display settings (exclusive, full screen, windowed, low, ultra, etc.)
8. Making chkdsk /f for C drive
9. Turning on/off all the DLCs
10. Since I have overclocked RAM I've even tried to us default values and below, like 1600MHz
11. Detaching all the devices and Bluetooth at all
12. Playing with Nvidia control panel
Uhh... But then, I've remembered... I had one stunning issue, when game was unable to load next level after I've finished first act and come to the aircraft, game was crashing during load screen just like this. The solution was to set custom affinity to the game process, limiting it's processors count to 4. So it's working now as well.
Go to the Task Manager -> Details tab -> RMB to DXMD.exe -> Set Affinity -> limit it to a few cores up to 6 (maybe it will be good using more cores but I didn't tried). Here we go, game runs just fine for few hours. SOLVED FOR ME.
very helpful in 2022 also, thanks. fixed it for me too
