Nope.
Do it before it is too late.
If it is the latter - this is not the place to do that. This page might help you - https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6695-QIKM-7966
if it is the former - I don't think something as simple as not being able to log into our optional S-E account is worth giving up the rest of the game. I know some people are having serious issues with the game, and other people are upset about the single-use DLC (or "microtransactions") - and those people might want to get a refund...
.. but I don't think this particular (S-E account login) issue will cause many people to trade the game back in. For me, at least, the game is still 100% playable. This log in thing is annoying, but hardly game-breaking.
FWIW YMMV IANAL TTYL DFTBA
S-E support is useless.
Has anyone got a fix for this?
1. Go here: https://membership.square-enix.com/users/sign_in
2. Click the steam icon.
3. Login to steam account.
4. Enter your square enix account email.
5. Once it tells you it's already associated with an account, login via the email and password fields.
6. It will ask if you want to link your square enix and steam accounts.. Click yes.
7. Go into the game and go link it. Should auto login once you click the account button.
