Mankind Divided....title said it all....
The game is about rebellion....you can't have civil discourse and rebellion without social justice.
This sort of attitude is just as bad as the "lefist". "Rightist" stuff can be just as bad as "Leftist" stuff. Why is there no middle anymore? :S
Actually, they were slave owners.
But to answer your original question. If the alleged police brutality isn't real, then there is nothing to complain about. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen. I'm saying that not every single shooting is police brutality.
Racism has been in decline since the 80s. This is quantifiable fact. Obama gets into office, and race relations are the worst since Civil Rights Movement days. This is because the racism was no where near as bad as it used to be.
The SJWs however, have an agenda and are creating a problem out of nothing. That's why this is a bad thing. It's crying wolf when there isn't one.
Illuminati is the real deal! There is so much proof about the topic and their actions, I always need to wonder how people still think its superficial nonsense.
Yes. There are already some reviewers(at the usual ♥♥♥♥ sites) out there whining because there are bad choices in the game, and the game should force you to only make good choices that they agree with. Never mind that a year ago, those same reviewers were lining up and saying that "player agency and the ability to make decisions is a good thing."
If you want to read some stuff on it, check the stuff that Ian Miles Cheong has been writing up about it on Heatst. Just incase this link doesn't work: Warning is game review http://heatst.com/tech/review-deus-ex-mankind-divided-lives-up-to-the-hype/
This is actaully the trope of cyberpunk as a genre. It may have to do with social justice, but the real world SJW movement is based on no evidence and emotional reasoning. That has no place in intellectual discourse.
I always prefered their whining over "weaponized memes."
