I felt like my DXHR experience was screwed up due to the mass dump of items i got from the preorder stuff, and now this.
Yeah, did you play Human Revolution? You needed 2 Praxis for unlocking a tree and then 1 per each upgrade on the tree.
But yeah, problem is this may make the game too easy if handled badly...
Yeah, Praxis units are the games Skill Points.
Let's hope the tree's bigger this time around.
Ugh, now that you mention it I recall that I finished my first DXHR-Director's Cut walkthrough with 3 unused praxis points...
I'm afraid that's not possible, but you should still be able to redeem the praxis by using your Square Enix account in-game.
I am glad though that OP let me know DXGO is out though cause I've been really looking forward to it. The GO games are very very good mobile games.
If its anything like 2K's account system, I think the game has its own ingame log in system. Which I'm sure will be necessary for the Breach mode they have in this.
Something ala Watch_Dogs where you can upgrade to a certain point but then you have to progess in the story to unlock more upgrades I take it.
Precisely, as I explained in the post, and Square Enix having in-game signing options is not unheard of at all, either in the launcher or in the game menu.
Those "hidden upgrades" are most probably just the new skill tree.
Not exactly, part of the tree involves previous augments such as the cloack Glass shield thingie, but there's a sidequest that will let Adam unlock experimental augmentations he had inside him without knowing, one achievement revolves about this same thing.
But yeah, it is still an excuse to have you spend points and level up, like in every Metroid game ever made.
Human Revolution didn't have any online features. Doesn't mean they can't do it with Mankind Divided, considering Hitman Absolution, Tomb Raider and Rise of The Tomb Raider do feature sign-in options.
In fact, considering Deus Ex GO does state you'll need to use the SE account, I would take it for granted.
No prob! Remember to go to the game's Settings and sign into the Square Enix account for the unlockables. Glad to hear you like it
By the way, updated the original post, it rusn out the Praxis are unlockable on both Steam (game's only going to be released on PC through Steam as far as I know) and Xbox One. PS4 owners are let out of the thing, strangely enough.
