Deus Ex GO gives you up to 5 Praxis kits on MD [PC and Xbox]
They released some hours ago Deus Ex GO for Android and iOS, and personally, it is indeed better than Hitman GO (which was by no means a bad portable game to begin with); take notice that DXGO is also harder. Haven't played Lara Croft GO so dunno about that.

Anyways, just wanted to let people know that by playing Deus Ex GO you can get 5 extra Praxis kits on Mankind Divided by signing into both games using the same Square Enix Account, and doing this:

Guide for levels 42 and 53 on Android (they are harder than on iOS)
Guide for "Master Hacker" achievement
Guide for "It's Beautiful" achievement
Guide for "Honest Mistake" achievement (thanks to viktorivov and Xenaca)

- You receive 2 Praxis by completing the main story (54 levels). By the way, the story takes place some time before Mankind Divided and does build a bit on Miller's character and whether he's trustworthy or not. But it's a mobile tabletop game, don't expect it to have a stellar story.

- 1 by compliting all story levels (54) with as few turns as possible. Take into consideration that levels 42 and 53 on Android require you to do it 2 turns faster than on iOS, so it is indeed harder to do so on the former platform.

- 1 by completing one week of daily challenges. Each day they add a new random puzzle to solve (click on the World icon on the top left corner of the game), from monday to friday. So simply do all five puzzles of the same week before that sunday and that's it.
You can play previous puzles as long as they were released in the week you're playing on, so you can just turn the game on on friday and complete the monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday puzles on one sitting.

- 1 by completing another week.

Is a praxis kit, like an upgrade point, for the tech tree ?

ah jfc
I felt like my DXHR experience was screwed up due to the mass dump of items i got from the preorder stuff, and now this.

Yeah, did you play Human Revolution? You needed 2 Praxis for unlocking a tree and then 1 per each upgrade on the tree.
But yeah, problem is this may make the game too easy if handled badly...

Let's hope the tree's bigger this time around.
Ugh, now that you mention it I recall that I finished my first DXHR-Director's Cut walkthrough with 3 unused praxis points...

Hey. I'm just wondering (not that it matters too much) but what in case I bought the game directly from Steam and not from Square Enix website? Any clue whether it will be possible to register my game on the website somehow? I asked uncle google and didn't find the answer.

I'm afraid that's not possible, but you should still be able to redeem the praxis by using your Square Enix account in-game.

I am glad though that OP let me know DXGO is out though cause I've been really looking forward to it. The GO games are very very good mobile games.

If its anything like 2K's account system, I think the game has its own ingame log in system. Which I'm sure will be necessary for the Breach mode they have in this.

well based on what one of the character states is that Adam has more "hidden" upgrades then can be implemented. So that does imply a tree or grow limitations of some sort.

Something ala Watch_Dogs where you can upgrade to a certain point but then you have to progess in the story to unlock more upgrades I take it.

That would be only possible if there actually was a way to login to Square Enix account in-game, like in case of Arkham Knight -> WB.

Precisely, as I explained in the post, and Square Enix having in-game signing options is not unheard of at all, either in the launcher or in the game menu.

More like "Adam is already fully upgraded from HR so we need to come up with new ideas in order to let people level up", which resulted in "hidden upgrades".

Those "hidden upgrades" are most probably just the new skill tree.

Not exactly, part of the tree involves previous augments such as the cloack Glass shield thingie, but there's a sidequest that will let Adam unlock experimental augmentations he had inside him without knowing, one achievement revolves about this same thing.

But yeah, it is still an excuse to have you spend points and level up, like in every Metroid game ever made.

That was not the case with DE:HR, unless I just didn't notice.

Human Revolution didn't have any online features. Doesn't mean they can't do it with Mankind Divided, considering Hitman Absolution, Tomb Raider and Rise of The Tomb Raider do feature sign-in options.

In fact, considering Deus Ex GO does state you'll need to use the SE account, I would take it for granted.

Thanks for explanation. The game is overall great and I almost killed my battery with it. Really fun puzzles that are getting more difficult, especially when doing your best to finish each one with mastermind achievement. It's a nice filler. I can kill time with it until DE:MD is released.

No prob! Remember to go to the game's Settings and sign into the Square Enix account for the unlockables. Glad to hear you like it

By the way, updated the original post, it rusn out the Praxis are unlockable on both Steam (game's only going to be released on PC through Steam as far as I know) and Xbox One. PS4 owners are let out of the thing, strangely enough.
