is Mod supported?
Are they supporting mods for this, not supporting the modding community has been series biggest weakness.

Do you need a reason? They aren't supporting mods like the first Deus Ex or even the second one. The game also has Denuvo which will make future proofing more difficult.

Like wtf is all this crap? I want a game that can be modded and playable 15 years from now.

Well that confirms my decision not to buy it then.

Companies value money over accesibility. You can only hope that a few years down the line they release it on GOG.

Less accesibile doesn't equate to more money though, its a bit of a backwards view. I wont be buying it now, I can always just do the youtube - lets players. I hope system shock 3 gets some mod community love.

Oh I agree one hundred percent. But business men only care about that short term major money. Not about our feelings.

They care about sales so the best way to send the message is if I don't buy it.

I'm sure you won't make a difference unfortunatelty. Lost sales due to lack of mods are likely not that big.

Sure it'll make a difference in addition to not giving my money I wont be playing the game or promiting it to anyone.

I want modding too

I wish this game had some basic accessibility, the fact there's a maxcount on the bullet wound decals really irritates me. They have virtually no impact on the performance, and this takes away immersion for me. It's frustrating to me that it's just a matter of changing a number value, but I can't even make an edit as simple as that.

You clearly have no idea how Denuvo works. Denuvo is locked down inside the executable of the game, not the game files themselves. Modding textures and models is as easy as decrypting the games packed files. The exe is the only bit protected by Denuvo's VM, and since it is currently the only way to interpret the games data, it protects it.

just look at just cause 3, so many mods, and so much Denuvo.

Word in the cracking community is conspir4cy has managed to crack Denuvo, INSIDE was cracked 2 weeks after release.
