Is Invisible War worth playing as an FPS?
I'm playing the original Deus Ex, and I'm having a blast, though I've heard Invisible War is alot more linear and constrained due to the Xbox's limitations, and is it fun enough to warrant a full playthrough to salvage some of the lore?

never could get into it although i like the original a lot. Just try it yourself.
I played through it about 5 times. You can change the FOV via some trickery, it's on PCGamingWiki.

It's a good game by itself. You have augs, but there's only one kind of ammo for all weapons together. The spaces (e.g. ourdoors) all feel a little cramped. etc. - If you don't play it like "I could have played that other great stuff instead!" but just for the game itself, you'll enjoy it.

I played the original 3 times, Human Revolution 5 times and Mankind Divided 2nd time.

I could stand Invisible War only for half an hour...

Stealth or action? Cause I heard that the action is pretty good.

It's ok game, but like you said, it suffers the limitation of X-box (small maps, Universal ammo (tough that's explained in the lore) , charismatic main villain...) And deffinetley worth a play if you want to see how the Deus Ex- story ends .

It's worth playing, the story is still good and more nonlinear but the levels are realy small and game much shorter then the original

Invisible War is a good and fun game but it's not nearly as good as the first one or the prequels. Especially compared to the original game, it feels like there is a lot of stuff missing (no skill system for example, dumbed-down gameplay). It's definitely worth playing but don't expect a Deus Ex 2.0. Keep in mind that there's no native 1080p support so you gotta fiddle around a bit.
