Be cautious using Trainers

I advocated the use of MrAntifun'S Trainer for the singleplayer component of DXMD. Generally, as long as the cheatengine/trainer isn't open while connected to a MP game, you are safe. I DO still believe this holds true, however I sent an email to SE to confirm and they refused to do so.

Keep in mind, no one has yet faced any problems from this title using trainers, however, continue to use them with caution, at least until we can get some better confirmation. The issue here would be that the trainer circumvents the microtransaction system in singleplayer, which is silly considering the previous titles in the franchise, as well as MOST single player games do not penalize the player for how they modify the title they purchased, so long as any modifications don't extend to singleplayer.

The whole point of being able to use trainers is to play how you want to play. I don't and won't ever play Breach, but have used trainers on occasion just for amusement. I don't see that this is an issue now however, as Square Enix confirmed that no one who used trainers on the single player part of the game would face any penalties.

No. There is no way you’ll get vac banned or even banned by SE.

I used WeMod’s Infinity, both in SinglePlayer campaign and the Breach mode. Also, I didn’t sign-up for any SE accounts.

I didn’t get VAC banned and I didn’t get any notifications about hacking. DXMD doesn’t feature Valve Anti Cheat, but from what I’ve seen, a lot of people in Breach mode are using cheats.

Technically, Breach is not multiplayer, so if you want to get those achievements, you’re probably gonna be fine.

I just signed up for the WeMod forums. When you say that you "used" WeMod's Infinity in Breach mode, how long ago did you do this? Recently? I'm reading a lot of people saying it doesn't work. Curious how long ago did you try? Maybe the developer patched the holes? Maybe WeMod fixed those?

As far as I know, Infinity is free to use. They have a donation button if you are interested in that.

I’m actually not sure about Breach poll because I don’t visit their forums. Do you mean Breach Mode in DXMD or standalone Breach release? How old is that poll? I just used DXMD page with hacks and played Breach, the only thing that I used was Ghost Mode (makes enemies completely ignore you).

Oh cool! Yeah, me personally I'm talking about the Breach Mode that's integrated into DXMD. Heck, if even Ghost Mode works, it should be fine. I love DXMD the game but HATE that they bolted on the Breach Mode with achievements. It should have been a separate game that I could ignore. Messes with my 100% game score stats.

Breach was never good in the first place. It was a halfbaked thing foisted upon players to try and wring money out of people.

Rather sad that developers and publishers think about money and not playability. If someone wishes to cheat in a singleplayer game, it's their damn business. Not anyone else. For multiplayer, mmo or whatever, sure that ban would be well deserved. But with singleplayer you won't hurt any other player so who cares how someone wishes to play the game they payed for?
