Way to neutralize Exosuits?

Anyone found a stealth way to neutralize the exo suits without killing them?

If you are not in combat you can use a kill take down on them, otherwise use any form of EMP to disable them and do a lethal take down or use armor piercing bullets.

Use the stun gun to neutralize the target once, then perform a normal takedown.

shooting like 6 tranqs at them also works

also shooting 5 stun gun shots at him also works.
I figure the same applies with the EMP ammo for the other guns too.

I do not carry a stun gun, so i use eletric ammo on the 10mm with a silencer, then normal take down.

Just in case you are still reading this, it's exactly 3 head shots with tranq gun to make one go to sleep. I hope that helps!

They have really cool animation when you try take them down in close combat without emp. Good work, lazier devs would just disabled the ability to take them down to not bother with another animation.

Just shoot 1 Handgun EMP bullet and then do a non-lethal takedown. Instead of wasting so many tranq darts and time. Discovered it for myself and it felt kind of lame after they made such a big deal showing Adam getting punched in the trailers.

It should've need more than just 1 EMP bullet.

Thanks for the additional info everyone. I'll keep it in mind for my next playthrough, cept I'll prolly go full lethal on that one, which will still help for lethal takedowns.

I know this is a late question, but whenever i stealth kill or knock out the xos, my game always crashes when it transitions back to first person. Anyone else have this issue?
