Any way to use gas grenade in a ghost run?

Every time I use a gas grenade it instantly triggers panic mode, and alerts nearby units. Any way to gas someone without losing the ghost bonus?

Yeah. You can use gas grenades and still get Ghost. You have to make sure your targets don't see the grenade before it goes off, all targets START in the gas, and no other NPC's are within noise range.
