Multitool not working...

Somehow in my DX:MD, Multitools are not working,anyone know how to fix dis?

What happens? Do you equip them then hold the button until they get at 100%?

you need to be really close from the keypad/pc you wanna hack

Neither is mine, hasn't been since yesterday, they were working fine earlier in the game, but now nothing.

Also switching to a multi tool stops me from equipping a weapon after.

Wait,did you use the no intro thing? because if you are,you are the same as me and that may be the cause

Nope I've not changed anything with the game just played through, if I figure out how to fix it i'll post here.

this is a really annoying problem...i have 7 multitools and cant use them because when i hit the mousebutton, nothing happens -.-

I had this problem. I aim at the thing I want to hack and push the mouse button, and Jensen just pushes the button on the multitool but the numbers don't start running and nothing else happens. I loaded an earlier save where the multitool still worked and I've been fine since.

Found a solution myself which is really annoying... you have to throw the multi tool stacks from the inventory, just sell them.

After that every multi tool will work... it's a waste.

Are you sure you using multitool and not jammer? They look the same.

Third post from here helped me. Basically you need to sell your stacks of multi-tool before they work again.

drop them on the ground, craft one from parts, then pick them up again. works for me...

Verified. This worked for me as well. What a PITA.
