Managing Augs is... confusing me.
I'm a bit confused over the whole "switching augs / managing power" system.

POSSIBLE SPOILER -

After you get your augs fixed (damaged from train station bombing), and discover you have some others you didn't know about, the tutorial takes you through switching certain ones off to keep power usage at the required level. It worked for me then but now I'm onto other missions, I don't get the deactivate option in the Augs menu for any of them .I've deactivated one in the tutorial but cannot re-activate it, nor deactivate any others. What am I doing wrong?!

As far as I can see, we both didn't pay attention to something. That happens to everyone, as proven here. No need to desperately try and be all scary with the ♥♥♥♥ off's etc, internet stranger.
No one's trying to be scary over the internet, stop being delusional...I wasn't even talking to you anymore until you posted this:

Honestly, when you replied with an answer that required correction, I really had to laugh about who it is that's actually paying attention ;)

So exactly what's your problem?

I came to this thread because I had the same question as OP. FWIW the tutorial really didn't spell out to me that disabling was permanent. I'm wondering if there's some bug that skips dialog in the tute because I had no idea what was going with the deactivation mode.

Anyway, Feyrom: thanks for explaining, but you sound like a brattish 12 year old who makes up for his own inadequacy by insulting people on a forum about - of all things - computer games.

If you're actually an adult that makes it even worse.

Try to be nice to people when they ask for help.

It totally tells you that it's permanent, though. Rather, it's a long-term problem unless you find some stuff to potentially repair Adam's systems.

What was weird is that i activated some experimental aug(remote hacking, i think) and got to 150% load. I didn't disable any aug. But after some time it returned to normal 100%.
Btw, remote hack rules if you upgrade it to control security cameras/turrets, because it disables them for 30 seconds, doesn't trigger alarm, and even if you fail it still doesn't trigger alarm. Oh, and it can disable laser walls permanently(but that makes guards and cameras suspicious for a short time).

Remote hacking quickly became one of my favourite augs. I've purposfully left power usage at 150% to see what happens. Really, it seems there isn't much of a penalty. The screen just "glitches" every now and then. I don't know if it's different on higher difficulties though.

You can play the game without having an augmentation, if you want to. That is what I call challenging, but it can be done. So I wouldn't worry too much about missing one aug or the other, you just need to use one of the other solutions.
Many - if not all - codes can be found when exploring, doors have almost always hitpoints and can be blown to smithereens, and being careful with watching the guards while sneaking around can do the trick, too. That said, I would hate to miss the high jump, the dash or high strength.

That's actually a really cool idea, Morgian! I'm going to try that on my next play-through.

It was the Factory Zero achievement for the DLC of HR, where you go to Rifleman Bank, Tripwire. I hated it, but could not leave it undone *sigh*

I'm at 200% critical and all i get is a little glitch every 5 minutes that kind of adds to the atmosphere. xD

Can anyone else say what happens if your system status is over 100%? Before I even knew about disabling augs, I was playing the game at system status 150% for awhile and I didn't even notice a difference (if something did happen, I missed it). What's supposed to happen if your system status is over 100%?

You should pay more attention to the dialogue and text tutorials next time.

You can only deactivate augmentations that you don't have a single praxis point put into. That means the grey ones, but not the black or orange ones.

You can't reactivate augmentations that you've disabled.

You can only deactivate augmentations if you have more than 100% stability/load. That's called overheating. You can't deactivate augmentations unless you're overloaded/overheated.

You have to go into the sub menu of the augmentation you want to disable, and click the DISABLE button in the bottom right corner of the image.

Feyrom is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ douche. shut up and stop talking down to people you ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hole
