Just in case it happens to you ("Save/Load Unavailable")

Seemingly randomly, during a side quest, I noticed that the game was no longer allowing me to quicksave. I figured it was probably a fail-safe so I didn't ruin my game by saving at a really difficult point in the game. I finish the area and notice that I still couldn't quicksave. At that point, I tried doing a normal save and noticed that both "Save" and "Load" were grayed out and said "Unavailable." I tried looking it up online and only found a youtube video demonstrating the problem:

It sucks, but I the only way that I found to fix it is to ride it out. I actively tried to NOT get killed (I would have lost more than an hour of play!) and just ran from one end of a HUB to another. FInally, I noticed the autosave icon and I could save again.

I consider myself one of the lucky ones for the reported glitches, but this was a bit shocking, given the amount of time that I could have wasted for seemingly no reason.

Well, good to know I can wait it out. I'm experiencing the bug right now and deathly terrified of losing progress.

Yeah, I was the same. Hopefully they'll be quick on the official fix. I freaked out when I saw that the game hadn't saved for an hour...The killer is that I have no idea what triggered it either.

I got too impatient and just restarted the game, because that was the only thing that could fix it. This is just a hunch from looking at the menus while I save, and it's weird that I haven't run into this before because I must have done it loads of times already and only ran into this issue once so far, but I'm pretty convinced that I triggered this bug by starting to hack something while the game was still in the middle of quicksaving.

You know, you may be on to something. I routinely quicksave just before I hack something as a "just-in-case" safety measure. And I think I had to hack my way into the side-quest that I was on.
