Why is there no waypoint system?
Why would they know have onscreen blips to guide you to mission points? Or at least put mission markers on the minimap?

The only way to know where a mission is, is to press M and look at the map. So then every few seconds you have to open it again to make sure you are going the right way.

Human revolution had waypoints, what the ♥♥♥♥?

I second this. Don't know if this is some kind of new trend or supposed to make it more challenging or what, but I really miss this feature.

I'm pretty sure the feature you two are looking for is the "Objective Markers" option under "Gameplay". It's disabled by default, atleast on Give me Deus Ex difficulty. But can be turned on with no ill effect.

Yeah I have objective markers in the game. Not that they do much since the destination of them results in CTD. All of them.

Oh really? Im playing on give me Deus Ex so that explains it. It's not really a difficulty feature and purely a quality of life feature so i don't know why it would be disabled.

There will be a waypoint system available soon for the low low price of 10.99, no wait, it's discounted at 4.99 and not only that, you get to fast travel twice for the price of one!!! But order soon, supplies are limited.

There is a waypoint system, go to your quests page and select a quest to follow. It should pop up a waypoint on your hud that leads you straight to where you need to go. As I understand it, main quests appear yellow/gold, side quests appear blue, and points of interest appear green.

Many people enjoy the more... physcial nature of having the reference objectives and maps. And for me, I don't like having the floating point on my screen as I find it somewhat obnoxious myself. But it's quite well implemented in this game from what I saw.

As a heads up, many more useful HUD elements can be found and toggled in the Gameplay menu.

Have fun.

That is a "Gameplay" option in the options menu that can be toggled. And seems to be defaulted to off on higher difficulties.

I do believe you are correct with the colour scheme. Gold/Yellow for main missions and Blue for side missions.

Thanks guys. I did think that was a very strange omission. I shall check gameplay options in the future.

I am totally happy I am not geting my hand held by go here markers. And finding a bunch of stuff i would probably never had found following that sort of thing. I can also read a map and do intersection and resection. But not many games care about orienteering.

Lmao. I always thought of waypoints as difficulty features.

Checking your map, or just having your map on screen doesnt make anything more difficult or easier. It's just less hassle.

Guys, please go play something else instead of asking developers to dumb down games because you simply lack the ability to use common sense.

Private profile trolling because he is pathetic. Show us your profile bet your most played game is either TF2, Dota 2, or CSGO.
