How do I start playing System Rift?

PC Version: I've played through twice - regular game and NG+. I've downloaded System Rift from Steam but don't see how to start playing the DLC.

If I select Continue, I am outside the door where Brown is; walk in and tell him to beat feat then got to the conversation and then to the credits (jeez - 15 minutes and no way to break out. Seen them 3 times now. Talk about tedious.)

If I start new game, I am on the copter with the Lethal/Non Lethal weapon choice which looks like square one to me.

So, I am probably being really dumb and dense but how the heck to you start playing the System Rift DLC?

System Rift does not appear in Jensen's Stories, only Desperate Measures.

I don't think I looked (or noticed) "Desperate Measures" in Jensen's Stories. I'm only noticing it now after getting the "System Rift" DLC and reading your thread here. I'm just curious, was "Desperate Measures" available before getting "System Rift"?

Desperate Measures was available on release-day to pre-purchasers. I believe it can not (yet) be bought.

So if you weren't a pre-purchaser, does Desperate Measures become available after you buy System Rift? (kind of like a 2-for-1 purchase) Because I wasn't a pre-purchaser and I notice Desperate Measures is available to me now. I'm just not 100% sure if it became available because I bought System Rift or was it available to me beforehand and I just didn't notice it?

The mission does not come via the Season Pass, in case you have that. And it can not be purchased separately.

I don't see why it should come with System Rift, but maybe it's just a bug in the system somewhere that gives you DM with SR. Are you sure that you didn't purchase the game before it unlocked?

If you didn't pre-purchase, you should not have DM, period. If you have DM anyway, something's wrong.

I'm 100% sure I didn't pre-purchase and I don't have Season Pass either. Heck, I'm not complaining, I was just curious. If they were giving away another DLC with the purchase of System Rift, I would have thought they'd advertise it that way.
