Ridiculous... why can't I keep my praxis points for the Jensen Stories?
So I have to start over with every new dlc and addon? I've got a fully upgraded Jensen in my main save, but I can't seem to transfer his skills and weapons to the sidestories. That is just lame beyond lame.

They should release an update for this.
If it isn't fixed, I can guarantuee you that this is the last game I purchase from them. What a waste of time...

Try out the Technomancer on easy difficulty instead. At least that game had a real ending.

Yep, i pretty much expected some kind of shallow plot twist to strip Jensen from his augments at the beginning of the main campaign, but i foolishly expected to keep my upgrades trhough DLCs. No such luck. I'm going to cheat some praxis to alleviate that...

Because there'd be no point or challenge if you had all your max gear and augs.
[GZ]Glasofruix Sep 23, 2016 @ 10:22am
That just means there's a lack of design...

How do you cheat to get back your items and praxis?

Hey all you have to do is open the menu goto shop and
! INSERT COIN !

Don't feel like paying for something I've already paid for...

Honestly, this just sucks. My main save had tons of credits that I had spent time finding, and upgraded weapons. Just had a few more skills to max out.

Why can't they just let me keep going with that inventory?

Trainers or cheat engine, will not work for your items though.

I like the game a lot, it's been quiet fun. This is one major flaw that drags it down though. I shouldn't be have to rely on third party software to keep my character achievemnts intact between dlc's...
And neither should I be have to pay for skill points I've already earned.

Or how about just treat the DLC like the standalone play that it purports to be.

No, they shouldn't release an update for something that's not even broken. If this is all it takes to make you stop purchasing for them (instead of the more obvious solution: don't buy DLC for extra chapters), then I guess more power to you.

Wow, I saw it more as a puzzle. Here's your limited tools for the scenario, here's the problems you need to get around... now go figure it out. This made me try completely different things than my pimped out character would have. Loved sending a security bot against the nasty power suits, since I couldn't just face-roll them with my uber-character.

I had fun, sorry the rest of you didn't.

You probably will have to wait for a Directors Cut that integrates all DLC's into the main game, just like with Missing Link in Human Revolution.

It is a design choice, and a smart one. How would you feel to play a DLC from the start with all stats maxed out? Pretty bored I think. With a set amount of praxis you have the ability to build your personal Jensen for that mission. A DLC may involve stealth and infiltration, or may involve heavy shootings. You take the risks to build your augs as you wish for that particular moment. It's challenging. Else you just go boom boomb game is over in 15 minutes and then you come here on steam forums telling everyone how short the DLC was and how bored you are

A poor design choice in my regard, but that's irrelevant.
I think this is up to each individual's taste. Perhaps you like it. I do not. And ultimately it's up to the developer.
