For me, the worst part of the game is that when Jensen picksup an identical weapon to which he already has in inventory, the 2nd weapon is automatically unloaded and then disintigrated. I would prefer that instead the 2nd identical weapon is added to inventory as another weapon and then Jensen has the option to unload it or not.
It's like this in every deus ex game, though.
Right, but, for me, that's the worst part. I mean it doesn't even make sense. I get adding the other weapon's magazine rounds to your inventory, but where does the weapon those rounds came from go?
It just vanishes into thin air? We don't have nanotech yet in HR or MD, so...
Edit: Wait, Jensen does have a nano dissasembler in MD... So shouldn't I at least get rounds + weapon parts for picking up an identical weapon? :-p
...and for second place, the ending, because it's so hilariously incomplete and clearly just a setup for DLC.
That doesn't change the fact that it's there, easier to get, why would you make it harder on yourself lol
It's just a mechanic. Virtually 95% of all FPS games ever turn guns to bullets on pickup if you already have the gun in question.
Hmm, I didn't think about that. I don't play many FPS games, so... I supose that makes sense in that comparison. Although, I don't consider Deus Ex games to be 'shooter' style games, rather resource limited, tactical stealth games.
- Discussing secret stuff in public? Yep, thats professional.
- Marchenko spouting that he had to put explosives into the towers "because of you" when you are dead, as far as he knows.
- Not integrating the infos Adam finds in Prague into the dialogue. For example: he knows what happened to Belltower after he raided the Tarvos vault.
- Adam saying at the end "he gives Janus a choice" is so trite...nobody ever found him, so why should he suddenly be able to, if Janus doesn't want it? An empty threat if there ever was one.
- The merchants dialogue, with the notable exception of Gallois, whom I rather liked.
The second runner-up would be the aug vs human thing, which is blown out of proportion, when there are only 7-8 millions augs spread over the globe.
