I don't get the point of the signal jammer

I massacred the church with great enjoyment and thus got the bomb jammer instead of the orchid cure. Right before the fight with Viktor you get the option to use it, and doing so destroys his remote. But what does it actually change? Whether you use it or not, you have to fight him.

You do, but if you don't take him out in under 10 minutes the bombs go off. One way to prevent that is by having the signal jammer. Another is by finding his kill switch.

I watched a disabled kid playing this game and he took only 5 minutes to beat him.

Thanks! So with the signal jammer, you have infinite time to take down Viktor, got it. As if ten minutes wasn't already enough. I feel like the orchid cure is the better choice... It should have been equivalent seriously. -.-

But what you use the orchid cure for?

Saving Miller's life, that's a huge storyline impact! Or the UN Council members, but being quick enough saves them anyway

Yup. The signal jammer gives you an edge if you aren't speedy enough but, in retrospect, I would've gone to the bank.

Yeah... I didn't see an option to save Miller but guess it is because I didn't have the antidote?
That's kinda dumb, I just watched a video of it, but on my gameplay, Miller never mentioned they forced him to drink. I thought they just beat him up.

Also no mention on the ending scene that he died so I thought he was alive.

Very dumb, apparently I left him to die and didn't even know.
