Foxiest of the Hounds?

This chieve was so easy on DXHR that I was surpised I failed it on my first run through DXMD.

So, I did a non-lethal / stealth run though. Didn't get FotH. Did not get the alarm tutorial, which is what I used to keep track of the achievement. No enemies got to alarm panels (see 2.), no lasers were tripped, no hackings (minus a few remote hacks) were failed.

Way I see it, I must have missed one of two things:
1. Supposedly, using the GARM ice drill will activate some stupid scripted silent alarm, thus you shouldn't use it (as if it makes much difference). I did use the drill, for that achievement. Talked down the guy who called the control booth about it, so I thought nothing of it. Fortunately, I saved before I interacted with the drill console, so, if this is the problem, I will follow through and we'll see if I get it some time this weekend. Update: did not work.
2. I missed some out-of-radar-distance alarm that somehow went off (I didn't think this could be possible, since I KOed every enemy and turned off all security), but being out of range of it, it didn't pop the alarm tutorial. If this is the case, then hypothetically it could have happened at any point during the game,
3. Failing remote hackings, though they appear to have no affect, perhaps also trigger silent alarms. Again, did this a few times over the playthrough, so I'd have to start over.

I'll give the ice drill thing a try and blitz through the rest of the game, see if that was what did it (guess not).

Don't think anyone would do a ALT+F4 during the first run. It was better done in HR, where you can skip the credits thinking there's nothing after them, and so miss the secret cutscene.

This run unlock the Foxxiest of the Hounds achievement (the achievement unlocking is displayed), I'll look at it tomorrow and search for differences with my run.

And I forgot when was unlocked Pacifist but from what I see on the video, the achievements are unlocked before the credits.

Edit : This guy doesn't do the first secondary objective, dunno if he do others yet.

(He didn't complete the secondary objective of the signal jammer and still got the achievement so finally, don't think it's related).

I will probably put it as a steam guide when it'll be complete.

And for the one who asked it, going through laser with cloacking doesn't void the achievement (was working fine in HR and the guy who unlocked it in the guide I posted also use this trick).

Edit : He also didn't complete both secondary objectives linked to Sokol in Golem City. He did something more than my run (talking to Sokol during the ARC infiltration but as it give no XP bonus, I don't think it's useful though it cost nothing to do it).

Edit 2 : Saw he leave Nomad Stanek's apartment before the trap is activated and so he doesn't trigger this part of the mission, maybe it's one of the things that can void the achievement (I was too quick for this mission so I waited until the trap part activated and maybe I shouldn't). I guess it might be that because it's pretty logical to think if the trap is activated, it mean some people detected you, even if no alarm is triggered.

Edit 3 : Also saw he choose M11 during this run ( I choose M12) so it might also be related but I don't really think so. It would be interesting to know from people who unlocked/failed the achievement if the trap in Nomad Stanek apartment was triggered or not.

Edit 4 : Updated the list until the end of mission 11. For the two missions where it say "End of the mission", it's because those objectives are not displayed but you still get some bonus at the end of the mission.

I finally nailed that achievement.

Main missions:
Did all of them of course, but failed some secondary goals. I got a "fail" on finding Radich's office, even if I punched him out in there. And of course you can never meet Liam Slater, so that is another fail. I also skipped freeing Sokol in Utulek and went with Gallois, failing those two optional goals.

I did resolve the fake checkpoint by myself (with the help of some large containers and the tesla) to avoid a possible alarm there (I did deactivate the alarm panel there, too). Might as well have left it alone of course.
During M13 I called Vega and I did not use the drill.

During M10 I went back up the shaft instead of down to avoid the drone problem. I got an automatic alarm I hopped down the first time and didn't want to risk that.

In Stanek's apartment the gas trap went off, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I went with the bank heist instead of Allison, as it is easier and faster to get ghost on that.

In the final mission I used the kill switch on Marchenko.

Side Missions:
I did The Golden Ticket, Cult of Personality, The Mystery Augs, The Calibrator, and Samizdat, skipping all the rest.

I avoided to destroy any camera, but I did blow up a drone (behind fake checkpoint) and a robot in the streets of Prague (near the station where you live). I did leave a trail of unconscious and dead bodies in several places, especially the lockdown streets. I took care to hide all bodies, just in case I would trigger a guard to start his patrol as some do, when you get near. I never got a car alarm and I never failed a hack. I passed quite a few lasers with the glass shield, so that is certainly OK.
There were a couple of instances when I was beginning to get spotted (yellow indicator, but not red) and I had suspicious guards a few times, when I lured them from their post. There were a few instances during the lockdown when I saw a RESET message under the minimap, which I ascribe to the panic of captured civilians who saw me take down police officers. Since they cannot trigger an alarm, it didn't matter.

I cannot think of anything else that might be significant for others.

Just got foxiest and I used the drill in GARM, I had CASIE so when the bloke asked what I was doing I was able to bluff it and he let me continue without sending a guard.

If you don't trigger the SM04 side-quest (and so never meet Otar in the casino), new objectives appears after you talk to Louis Gallois.

- Retrieve Gallois' merchandise [Getting Things Done 1950XP] + [Ghost 200XP] + [Smooth Operator 200XP] = [2350XP] total <= Only required if you skipped the SM 04. You can also just hack the door instead, I guess, but I prefered to do it once activated, just to be sure, as it's giving a smooth operator bonus.

- Bring the Neuropozyne to Gallois [Getting Things Done 500XP] + [Ghost 200XP] + [Smooth operator 200XP] = [2350XP] total <= Only required if you skipped the SM 04. You can also just hack the door instead, I guess, but I prefered to do it once activated, just to be sure, as it's giving a smooth operator bonus.


Note that they aren't really required, I'm pretty sure you can hack the door or use a special aug to go through this passage, but I prefered to do them on my run, just to be sure, as they were awarding smooth operator bonus (if it works the same way as HR, they were a particular number of smooth operators bonus required to unlock it, depending of the playthrough/version of the game, original or Director's Cut)

methinks there is a bug on the last london misson mate..

I'll know it soon because this time, I'm pretty sure of my run. For now, I exactly got the same bonus as the video (except the two Louis Gallois mission he skipped but got smooth operator for both of them anyway) which unlock the achievement on PS4 so if it doesn't unlock this time, I'll consider the achievement is semi-glitched for some people.

I just got it on my "I Never Asked For This" run. I skipped every side quest, didn't do every side objective, killswitch at end. I knocked all the guards out and didn't use the drill at G.A.R.M. just to be safe.

I have a feeling it was letting the cops deal with the fake checkpoint dude that messed up my other runs. Maybe not specifically because the cops killed him, but maybe, by chance, a cop will hit the alarm if they see a freaked out civilian run their way? No idea, Tibor's brother I left in the gulag, so it's definitely not "every possible objective" for main missions.

From what people said, this guy doesn't void the achievement, killed or not (which seems normal as you don't even have to go this way to progress. On my previous and actual runs, haven't see him at all).
