Louis Gallois' Merchandise bug
Hi, I have just recently managed to hack the second room with Gallois Merchandise in the mission where he's supposed to give you access to the ladder to proceed in the game. However, when I got everything I needed for him, I got back to him and there he is lying on the floor dead along with all other guards from the room. I cannot proceed in the game, I tried restarting the game, loading the most recent save. I hope I do not need to play all the missions from my last save like 3-4 hours before this mission. Help please!

Just hack the door that gives access to the ladder. That was the door that he would open if you gave him his things back.

If you can't hack or got no Multi-tool, go to Golem's market and locate a toilet at the far end of the area. Wait there. An old bald cop usually goes urinate at the toilet and he carries a keycard to an elevator that gives acces to ARC territory. (the elevator is guarded by an NPC wearing a working helmet)

even easier: Jump the railing on the stairs up to Gallois and then over the fence. You end up behind the door the body guard unlock.

of course it doenst do anything about the wird bug where all them be ded?

Thanks guys for your recommendation. In the end, I used multi-tool, it was the easiest way, but still, it is a weird bug and should be fixed indeed.

You should reload and play that part again. He is a very convenient vendor to sell items to as there is plenty of loot to pick up in ARC territory. I must've made about a dozen trips back to him. Earned about 70,000 credits from the loot picked up from that area alone...

Yeah there was a lot of loot, I tried to keep as much as possible I could sell later on. I'm not really keen on having tens of thousands of credits, I follow the story. Besides, before these guys helped me, I tried to load it from previous save before the mission started and yet I came to the same problem.. :/

Praxis kits cost 10,000 each. Two can be bought near the beginning from the vendor in your apartment building and then two more from him later on in the game. So long as you have at least 20,000 credits at this point, you should be okay.

Guess you missed that you can rob him blind and sell it all back to him? Easisest credits in the game :P
::Dump your stuff first!! You can hack his doors just fine (Or to be safe:Mulitool), then Cloak and take as much you have room for. de-cloak, sell the stuff. Repeat :)

No why should it? You can cloak to walk through lasergrids, so of course you can do the same to rob people :P

The absence of the NPCs' brains is immersion breaking, same with the absence of a real economy: If the trader just keeps losing/buying that stuff, not only would they eventually get suspicious of you, they would also run out of money. And they would hire security and stuff. The same applies to guards in a building: Eventually they just forget about you. Or they see you enter a vent, but instead of guarding other vent exists, sending someone in, etc., it's all just the very obvious simple game logic.
