Looks like I'll be re-doing most of the Golem.
Sure, if you want the XP. If not you could just keep going and put those on your task list for next playthrough. I recently just did a run where I bypassed everything in Golem, all those quests and just went straight for Ruker. I didn't save the brother from the police interrogation or anything. It doesn't affect the game outcome at all.
You don't actually need to talk to Gallois either, you can scale up the scaffolding and access the ARC entrance with any keys at all.
