Played "A Criminal Past" With No Augs
Went in playing to get the (Winners Don't Use Drugs (or Biocells) achievement and actually had fun. I got spotted, fired at and had multiple alarms but just ran away or used my very limited stun gun and tranq gun ammo in certain situations.

It was a well developed level as there were still multiple ways to get around and sneak or just run like hell as drones and turrets open fire at you. It was frustrating at first not being able to use takedowns but you pick your battles and it was a nice change not relying on the cloak aug.

That being said I wouldn't want to play the entire base game with no augs but overall it was a decent alternative game style. I'll probably replay Criminal past this time with augs and lethal as payback because pretty much every prison guard, drone and turret took a pot shot at me so i want to return the favor.

The main story is all sunshine and rainbows without augs pretty much up until the final stretch of the game: cops patrolling the streets suck & the last area before the elevators to save the delegates - those are the only true unavoidable challenges of the game without a single aug. I just recently did a I Never Asked For This run with no augs and that's the part I really really sweat at.

The biggest challenge for me was to play that DLC without crashes. Because it crashes like crazy, especially in the Administration area.

I don't think I have the patience to do a no aug run for the base game. Marshal law is annoying enough even with augs. Playing permadeath with no icarus landing, I salute you.

Had the same issue as well. Game ran fine before the riot but crashed every 20 minutes especially in admin area after the riot started. Something that reduced crashes for me was to
set the affinity of DXMD.exe to 8 cpus. Got the fix from the thread here:

That unfortunately didn't work for me. I had to put the game to the lowest settings possible and it stopped crashing. Though my pc is good enough to be able to handle it, it seems like this DLC somehow uses too much resources.
