Play Human Revolution first.
That said, Deus Ex 1 is the best and always will be.

As for DX1, it's a quite older game and considerably different. I don't believe it is required to play before HR. It is a good game if you like those old school style of games but IMO, HR is better.
Dated April 2nd and with less then 30 hours gameplay. To be fair that's barely playing the game at all, and without doing any side missions. What's the point? They've missed so many of the best parts of the story. Face palm.....
i suggest you to check my achievements and you will see that i did barely every side quests, only few are missing because i did not find them
I finished the game in the maximum difficulty in 30hours, while YOU have less side missions done than me in 140hours on normal difficulty lmfao; im crying right now
you can face palm yourself with your cringe comments ;)
Face palm indeed. Because you did not play thru the game on the hardest difficulty. Because the "I Never Asked For This" difficulty can only be unlocked by finishing the game and then playing it again on that setting. I have played thru the game twice and after finishing EVERY side quest on my first playthru I played one more time just because I enjoyed the game world so much. My 2nd playthru was only about 30 hours or so because I explored the entire game the first playthru. As for achievements, I could care less. I don't play for achievements because to me they seem pointless. I don't need to kill 50 npc's with only a knife or (or whatever the achievement is). In my experience (which is probably different from others) Playing for achievements minimizes the exploration aspect of a game making it hard to do both on 1 playthru.
You're either playing for achievements or you're exploring every nook and cranny in the game trying to find everything a game has to offer in the way of hidden areas and places that are difficult to access. I might spend hours trying to figure out how to get to the top of a building or an area that seems inaccessible. But the reward for doing that is finding new areas with some additional content and loot that many players will never find. So, I take my time and play for fun, not to get thru a game as fast as possible. But my version of fun is different from others. That is the beauty of gaming. There is no "right way" to play especially a single player game. However, certain styles of gameplay will uncover more content that a game has to offer as opposed to just getting thru the game as fast as possible. So while it's very possible to complete most achievements in one playthru in a timely fashion, by doing so, you are missing out on a lot of other content. But to each there own I guess.
