NEVER use Exclusive Fullscreen, Play all games in Borderless Fullscreen for same performance as exclusive fullscreen WITH the lowest possible input lag (in 99% of the cases)
I noticed myself that its Very heavy on the cpu,But also the type of monitor you have. Ive played this game with a 970GTX GPU on 3 diff cpus in the last few years. First one was an AmdFx8120,stutters allover, bad framepacing. Then i had a 2600x Ryzen and albeit better, still not great. Now im on a 5600X Ryzen and its buttersmooth,i can even turn up settings i wasnt able to in the past. When it comes to monitors as i mentioned, i used to have a 60hz Non gsync monitor, bad framepacing, and needing to enable Vsync. Now im on an Asus Tuf with Gsync 280hz,and its just butter smooth allover without to enable Vsync. All with the same old 970Gtx on Dx12.
@Chris Belmont The optimization is actually great.
@Sudo, you should probably refrain from calling people dumb when you complain about isues without listing your pc specs and the settings you use and the resolution you run on.
Go down to 4X MSAA and you will be getting like 600FPS
