And turn tesselation on.
Hmm try these settings:
-Enable exclusive fullscreen
-Texture quality: Medium
-Aniso: 16x
-Shadow: Medium
-Ambient: High or On
-Paralax: Medium or On
-LoD: Medium
-Disable 'Temporal-Anti Aliasing'
-Enable Tesselation

TIP : When you are in the graphics options and change stuff from the in-game settings, look on the upper right side of your screen. You can see how certain things look like when you experiment with settings. So basically when I wanted to see how the ground will look with different combinations I pointed the camera down and changed the settings to see how it will look like instead of changing them from the autorun and then launching the game again. I also disabled contact hardening shadows because even when I chose very high shadow quality they still looked choppy.
edit : here is a close-up screenshot with everything set on Ultra

Another issue I noticed is that the game has reflections almost everywhere. I understand that a lot of games do that because it has become a trend at this point but guys cmon, did you really have to put water everywhere? Look at this

Even the walls have reflections ..

I am not making these posts to talk trash about the game, I like it so far but Deus Ex : Human Revolution looked so damn beautiful without too many lens flares, tesselation and reflections. That game had effects where they were necessary, not everywhere. And it still holds up in my opinion.
I think a game like this would've actually profited from raytracing to make the reflections look realistic instead of just using the ugly cubemaps. As for the tesselation, I never really noticed how bad it actually is, but seeing the screenshots now makes me think what went wrong with the graphics team.
To be honest I don't think it would profit from ray tracing, it would probably make the game's optimization even worse. But the point I was trying to make was not the quality of the reflections, but the fact that some surfaces don't need them. You can obviously see that it isn't raining in Prague, yet there is water on the streets. Why?

You can use "Geforce experience" to adjust, although it can’t be fully satisfied but it’s already pretty good

Frostbite titles like Battlefield 1, Battlefield Hardline, Battlefield 4 heck even Battlefield 3 look better, but also Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Star Wars Battlefront 2015, Batman Arkham Knight etc. Well i've made my point..
Only difference is that the Dawn Engine is an in-house made engine specifically for Deus Ex: MD
The ground is like water, probably because the driver has updated the reflection intensity (you can play an old game at this point, and you will find that the reflection quality of the car and the water surface has improved).
But I didn’t play it before, so I don’t know how the game was originally intended.
Seeing this game company's other game "Tomb Raider", you know that the game engine is not good.
If the comparison is really good, you can use "METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN" to compare.
Of course I also know that you want the game to be better, and I also hope that the game engine can be improved in the next game.

I guess tesselation isn't perfect at times, but I don't think you have to focus on it so much. Turning ambient occlusion up to max really helps the look of this game.
