could you link me that video?
thank you for your answer. i didn't know how i was gonna reply. yea that video was BS and I laughed after watching it.
The antidote isn't necessary, either, but also makes a part of the game much easier. You know what's pretty good, though? All the guns, biocells, money, nupoz, 9mm ammo, and experience you get from slaughtering all of Allison's minions.
Also, I saw this video and it was in an old version of the game. It was patched
You would think they delete the vid, but not. when I 1st saw that vid, I said to myself what a waste of time. and all for what?? afew extra points?? no thx
Ok thanks. By 'not being caught' I meant easier for stealth (to get the no alarms achievement)
However, 'not being caught' isn't always so obvious in this game. You don't actually have to be seen to have an alarm go off. In certain circumstances, if you leave a body where it can be found, it can cause an alarm, negating the achievement.
Oh, and because I feel it's not very good design, I'll give you a tip... When you arrive at GARM, before opening the first door, make a manual save. The reason is, right after the cutscene, you have to make a choice ... Contact Alex or Contact Miller. If you contact Miller, there will be an automatic alarm, no matter how stealthy you are. Contacting Alex at least allows you the chance to get through the mission without setting off any alarms.
The subject was discussed at length after DXMD was released. Generally, the reasoning seemed to be by contacting Miller through normal TF29 channels, a mole inside the agency will warn the GARM facility that you were still alive and snooping around. And that's why, half way through the mission, an alarm is rung.
Ok thanks. So if alarms are triggered automatically, the achievement is locked? That sucks
