What happened to the DX12 Multi-GPU support preview in Beta?
It used to support multi-GPU in DX12, pegging both cards at 99%-100%. They removed the Beta version unfortunately since last time I played. Now my frame rates have been nearly cut in half @ 4K since the 2nd card is no longer used in DX12 anymore.

And before anyone says it didn't have it. It did. They first released DX12, then 1 month later enabled DX12 MGPU in the Beta section.

Tons of Youtube videos, reddit posts, analysis etc showing this.

Why would you remove it?

Hate when companies pull crap like that under the radar.

Are you sure they removed the feature. As far as i can tell they put the feature in. while they did remove the beta version, they replaced it with the official version.

The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided patch released today doesn’t come with the usual set of patch notes, as it appears to be addressing one thing: SLI support in DirectX 12 mode. If you have a pair of DX12 capable Nvidia cards, you should be able to now harness both of them.

“Today we are officially releasing Multi-GPU support for DirectX 12 for NVIDIA GeForce users. This will mean that the dx12_mgpu_preview Beta branch will be removed,” the announcement reads. It adds that you’ll want to be using the latest Nvidia drivers (375.86) to be the most out of this update. You’ll also want to “confirm that your SLI is active in your NVIDIA Control Panel”.

Nixxes added DirectX 12 support to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided back in September.

If your dirvers are up to date it should work. It would seem the issue is on your end somewhere.

In fact there are benchmarks using this game to test sli, So it would appear to support it.

Positive. Tried both of my systems. Even did a clean install. Definently doesn't work anymore, at least with AMD gpu's. I tried multiple versions on the Beta area. All my other DX12 multi-gpu games work great. This one no longer works. If anyone else with more than one GPU can chime in that'd be great. Funny enough, AMD removed tthe page touting the support from it's website, which a lot of articles linked to when originally annouced w/ multi-gpu.

It never worked properly for AMD. That's, you know, probably why they stopped claiming it did. DX12 is a garbage fire.

That stinks, because it worked great for me w/ pretty much 99% usage on both cards. DX11 Crossfire works okay, but not nearly the gains DX12 multi-gpu originally gave me. Oh well!
