What's the point of New Game Plus?
Isn't it easy-mode if you carry over your Augs and Inventory? Or are the enemies harder or have better awareness, or anything to boost the difficulty to make up for your carried over skills and items?

Maybe it's fun to have access to all of your abilities?

I see. But is New Game Plus harder or are difficulty levels the same?

It's the same game but you're that much more capable. Sure it inevitably makes the game easier...but really it depends what you get out of the game. For me this game is extremely immersive due to the expertly crafted levels and all the interesting reading material. If you're in it for well balanced gameplay mechanics obviousliy just starting a new game would be more suitable to your tastes. Though this game isn't exactly Dark Souls to begin with.

starting a NG+ game with all your carry-over save's hunting for stuff you don't need and your augs don't over heat. you can play on hard and the Q n A's can work in your favor.

Shame that, I had hoped it would have increased difficulty. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up guys. :)

I've never played a new game + mode and find the concept weird. It's that delicate balance of difficulty and item procurement that makes the games so fun. Different people are into different things though, and some want to run around overpowered and kick butt. Makes sense. ;)

I fully agree.

Not really. In some games like Dark Souls or Borderlands 2 they up the difficulty in NG+ and is overall harder even with all the XP and upgrades you already have with the first playthrough. There are even more enemies and I remember some different enemy tactics in NG+ of Dark Souls 2 SotFS.

Yeah, in those games NG+ makes sense. ...and that's what I was hoping for for DXMD too. But since this one seems to have the exact same difficulty, NG+ here has no appeal to me. (I can see the appeal it has to others and I'm not arguing tastes here; personally, I prefer a challenge over easy-mode any day. Sure, being totally overpowered can be fun, but to me it also gets stale very quickly).
