Advice for silently taking down all enemies
My question is: since silent takedowns requires battery, it is not always possible to do silent takedowns all the time. So I guess you use Stun Guns most of the time? But the Stun Gun ammo is limited. Do you pick up Stun Gun ammo during a mission?

What is a reliable way of silently taking down all enemies, because I am trying to play this non-lethally, as if it were Splinter Cell.

If you have a Tactical Pack DLC you can use the Micro Assembler aug to break items into crafting parts and then make batteries.

Otherwise, you should invest in the invisibility tree and use it when you can't find a way around enemies. In early game though there's always a way around people. You might have to jump somewhere or hack a door.

There is stun gun ammo found everywhere and it can be bought from vendors too.
A tranquilizer gun is useful for long range.

You could always just avoid them, you can play the entire game without killing anyone, even bosses and also without ever being seen.
For those you feel like taking down, there's many ways to take them down including the Stun Gun & Tranq. Rifle.

You really should have no issues with taking down people whatsoever.

I did buy the Tactical Pack DLC. How do I use it in game? Does it become active after the Dubai mission?

You need to keep playing the story and things will start making sense. You will have a mission to meet a certain person and he will explain how augmentations work. Gear and weapons are available in the storage, you can access that from your inventory.

Energy regens up to to 33%, which means you can always do the takedown. There are augs that make you regen energy faster, sooner, and in bigger chunks, plus an aug tree that provides more energy.

The tranq rifle is the best take to silently and non-lethally bring baddies down, but it requires a lot of actual player skill to use well. The stun gun's a lot easier to use, but has very short range, Another option is the tesla aug, which is a short-ranged lightning arc that can knock out up to 5 opponents if fully upgraded. It has a lot more range than the stun gun, and its range can be further upgrade, but it uses special tesla charge packs, which are rare and expensive, or can be crafted with weapon parts.

I am in the Dubai mission, the introduction.
I lost some battery when I activated the electricity and had to walk through electricity. Does it mean I will be less than 33% battery, or the battery always returns to 33% after it gets below that number?

There are two lines on the battery part, the thick and thin, the thick line always recharges, and it's more of a 20% than 33%.
Pacifist run?
Yes, pacifist run. I am going to play this game after I finish Dishonored, which is also great for sneaking around and knocking people out without killing them.

I have to say, this game is on the violent side, out of all the stealth games I've ever played. Because when Adam Jensen knocks someone out, he punches them instead of squeezing their neck, and saliva spills out of the enemies' mouth when they get punched.

Completed both dishonoreds, though the first one wasn't on steam, with pacifist runs, kill all humans runs, be a jerk runs, troll them all runs etc. Great games, though I love second the most, due to the new game plus feature. Though I find death of the outsider a bit... weird to play. If you played it, or saw how someone plays it you'll know what I mean. Also quite a good game with stealth is Thief, all versions, though my first was the third part. Try the newest one, you might like it, though there is no 'magic' abilities.

As for the pacifist runs, here are a few tips, though people already said them before, and you can find them in guides.
Have a stun gun and a tranq gun with you, also you might want to get a pistol/machine pistol with EMP rounds for shutting off cameras/turrets, make exos vulnerable.
The most useful augments for pacifist run are remote hacking (essential), hacking, battery recharge speed, tesla, dismantler (if you have the dlc), invisibility (glass-shield cloak), smart vision, jump mod (legs), and in some cases you might also want strength to move objects.
The casie, or social enhancer is useful, but you need to count the amount of times it flashes, and in which box (alpha, beta or omega). Not terribly useful, as you might find guides on the web, but if you want to rely on yourself only it's best to install it, but only after you got remote hacking. Sometimes dialect enhance that casie has might come in handy, though it's underused in my opinion in the game.
Use quicksave often.

If you have time, try the old games from deus ex, like deus ex game of the year edition, and deus ex invisible war. They were rather good.
I have a question: I am quite sensitive to horror. For all the Thief games I see "horror" tagged. What is the horror content of those games? I don't care about spoilers.

Thief 3rd had skeletons and zombies in some parts, for the thief, the only 'horror' moment was the weird ghost that might have scared you in one of the rooms, if you look through the keyhole. Otherwise in the new thief there were no horror, as far as I played, though I didn't play that much yet. I think dishonored is more scary when you get to the flooded district, for the first time at least. Different enemies and rats freaked me out the first time I played it. In 2nd, it was probably the dust district, the moment when you entered the mansion, though it was more of anticipation of something scary happening, not that there was anything scary.

I'm waiting for cyberpunk 2077, or to be exact, I want to see the gameplay of it in late august, before I decide to preorder it or not. Maybe VtM Bloodlines 2, but not until it's released, even if I liked the original.
