Josef Severn's secret room?

Hello all, I was in Josef's apartment during the curfew and noticed he has a secret room that is inaccessible. I noticed while using smart vision theres another room but the door is blocked off. There appears to be something inside but no way of accessing it. It's on the left hand side of the room where the password on the wall is located.
For those who don't know, Josef is the sick guy on the mattress, near Adam's apartment. Excommunicated member of the machine god.

Look around for a release mechanism that might open the door. Something hiding in plain sight is a secret lever.

If there was a secret lever I reckon I would've found it by now... I'm just curious whether or not it's only activated(if there is even one) at some point during the story.

I -think- it was the punching bag that activates the hidden room. Going from memory.

The Door is "Decorative" (otherwise you'd be able to move the pallet and trash bags). What your seeing on the other side of the Door is the stairwell.

Yes, the door is decorative but there is a room behind it. Here is a pic looking at his door from inside Josef's unit.

And this is while standing in the stairwell... as everyone can see, there is a room.

Maybe this was a side mission that was later scraped from the game, and it was easier to seal the room off.

Or it 's just negative space in between the stairwell and the Josef's Unit. (If the area your talking about was accessible, It Would Show up on the inset map in grey, Not Black). Hidden Rooms show up on the Floor plans.

Like you said...For some reason Units 21 & 31 (directly below that dead space were populated with closets) But 41 was just sealed off. and you were seeing the top of unit 31.

All I've been trying to say all along is that there's no active door to that space. You can access the vents from unit 31 though.. I hate seeing people look for stuff that isn't there.
