you earn praxis when you level up...?
For example, the Implanted Rebreather/Chemical Resistance. Without it, areas of the game filled with toxic gasses might as well have invisible walls blocking access, walls that are removed when you get the augment. So you barely notice when you're using it.
Worse still, you can't know how useful such augmentations are without knowing where it will help you. Which means looking for spoilers or having already played through once.
So I cheat for those boring augmentations. That way, when I earn praxis points in-game, I spend them on things that I do know when I'm using (eg, Icarus Landing System).
I also dislike it when a game decides to remove everything I've earned in-game (eg, Missing Link).
Thank you. I've used cheat engine before. Cheating for credits should be simple enough if I feel like doing so. I probably won't.
Cheating for praxis might be a different story. I've tried using cheat engine before and finding the memory location of values that low can be tricky. Too many other variables with values of 0-10. Is there any way to easily find the memory location that the praxis value is stored in ?
No. Invisible walls are barriers, which physically block progress.
Gas, is something you can move through, and slowly lose health.
Its the way the game is designed. Want to walk through the gas? Do it quickly, and find the valve to turn it off.
Or, get the Aug, and walk through it at your leisure, protected from damage, and turn off the valve.
Its just game design.
8 searches with only 2 praxis points. Does this mean loading a saved game as part of the process to narrow down the memory address ?
If not, what are the steps you'd use ?
What does the difficulty setting change ?
Human Revolution's difficulty settings[deusex.wikia.com] only affected what happened in a fight. If you were stealthy, the difficulty setting only mattered after you got spotted.
Some quick googling and I find a few people mentioning that the recharge speed/delay on your energy is also affected in Mankind Divided. Meaning higher difficulty might mean more waiting around for your energy to recharge. Which only makes a stealthy playthrough more difficult if you're impatient.

So, is there a way to get an infinite source of credits ?
